Last Saturday night, I was a volunteer photographer for the Shangri-La charity, art/fashion show. Before I get into too many details I would like to thank my Fiancé and her friend Sarah for making this possible! This opportunity gave me a taste of what it's like to work with models and opened a whole new dimension to photography that I had never seen before. Overall the evening was a lot of fun and a wonderful experience for me.
This particular photograph was taken during the fashion-show portion of the evening. On the photohraphy side of things, I am used to taking a photo at ISO 100, no flash and putting my camera on a tripod for as long as the exposure takes... obviously this was not an option here so it also gave me an opportunity to explore different ISO settings, flashes and apertures working with models in fairly low-light, night club conditions. |
