| I came to an interesting realization tonight. so.. guess what?... i'm going to share it! :) 1) I've always liked "art" (it's in me) but couldn't draw worth "insert bad word here". 2) So I tried "drawing" on the computer which mostly resulted in me playing with funky effects in imaging software that created cool effects on the screen but that never really amounted to anything. 3) I discovered that some companies spend a lot of time creating these neat imaging devices that can capture digital moments in time so I do not need to draw, awesome concept because.. "I can't draw" (covered in realization #1).. even my "stick men" look pathetic. So the combination of the two are very interesting for me because I've always liked both. I suppose that right now, the "discovery" phase that I am in is trying to find a balance between photography and "art"... I know that photography is an art in it's self but to me I guess it's more than that. |
